Calling all RB2 parents!

Just wanted to say thank you for everyone who responded. I was pretty nervous to post anything after reading other forums. People feel strongly about birds, cockatoos in particular. I understand this fully. You kind people on the forum have given me a little insight into your world with your RB2 and I appreciate it very much. Although I may be a little green now, I plan to educate myself as much as I can to care for our new addition to the best of our ability and this forum has offered up a great sense of support! THANKS!

I hope we can keep this thread going with the progress of all our AMAZING RB2s!

Visited our baby yesterday and while I was sure our little guy was in fact a GUY our DNA results say she is a girl! I am pumped either way, we chose her because we felt we felt we had the best connection with her! My wife has started to call her Lily, but that's just in the test phase. please send ideas our way!

HA!!! That's funny- we had the same thing happen... We thought chili was a boy and were completely surprised to find out she was a girl!! Lol. I really like the name Lily!!


We look forward to hearing more about your baby and definitely seeing more pics!!

Visited our little baby at the store today, got there right after feeding time. they are down to one hand fed meal a day now. Just another week or two and she will be coming home! My wife started calling her Strawberry today, Lily is still a option. Here are a few pics of our visit

I said no to the wife too! then she introduced me to ours. I didn't stand a chance!
