Hey Inger,
I found an image of you and Bumble on the inter web! This is such a great picture of the two of you. I love how he adorns your hair so elegantly. Just amazing!
OOOOPS she, sorry bout that. [emoji51]
I know right, what an amazing ornamental hair piece. She's prefect!!
Lilly’s doctor said to cut back on her high energy dense foods which in her case means her wet mix and fruit. Theoretically if she has to work more for her food and is even a tiny touch underweight it’s less likely that she’ll think “Plenty of food about, might go lay me some eggs!” Maybe this kind of strategy might help you with Bumble? Although I have yet to see if it works with Lilly in the height of her hormonal surge in our winter!

My co-worker at the parrot shop says the same thing. Says that since egg-laying is so energy-intensive, it helps to keep a bird a touch underweight. If resources are abundant, birds have the extra energy to use on eggs.
Hang in there, Inger!

Whoa I just looked at your profile. I’m also in Everett! Have we had this conversation before?

Whoa again. That means this magical parrot shop where you work must be nearby! Is it in Bothell, by chance?

Lol, nope, we have not had a conversation about both being in Everett. We should meet up for coffee or something!
The shop isn't in Bothell. It's about ninety minutes to two hours south of Everett during rush hour. (As I am painfully well-aware, haha.) It's only about 35 minutes away in good traffic. And don't forget the ... the silly blue Muppet is pretty prominent on our Facebook page.

We should definitely meet up for coffee. There are a bunch of us here in Western WA and we should gather.
I work in Renton so I feel your pain. Ok I give up what’s the shop?

Very cool - I’m just north of you both near Bellingham. I saw the blue Muppet on FB and never made the connection that she was the one that I had been reading about on your thread
