I am going to ban myself at this point (bored now).
There were some larger parrots at the market and I am still having belly-aches about them. There was an amazon with medium-severe plucked shoulders and tail I just wish I could have taken with me -> I was the only one he/she wanted to make eye-contact with and stayed put to face me and almost came over, every other person he/she turned the backside to.
(S)He belonged to a crappy birdseller, not only did the other parrot/parakeets not exactly look their best but they also brought a smaller 'too (one of the cute naked-eyed ones) that had an almost completely bald head (from beak to beak, all around) with the earholes showing, it was a bit apathic and breathing weird (loud, and the entire bird moved twice on every breath).
Of course I really, really wanted to help him or her but it would probably be like buying a dead bird (and I have no room for another parrot, let alone to safely quarantine one).
There is supposed to be at least one birdy-savvy-vet present at those events (usually there are more) so why these birds were overlooked is beyond me!
A plucker can be anything, but one with breathing difficulties?
SO MAD!
SO SAD!
