Perfect pic of Poppy, the set up there is great Allee, it looks professional :D. I love this theme. Good luck everyone!

The vet told us we needed to add some wide, flat perches to Charlotte's cage to help with her balance issues. It took some bribing to get her to use them.

Here she is saying "Oh! I want that cashew so bad! Is there any way I can get it without putting my foot on that evil new perch?"

Just for fun!
Justice enjoying a pumpkin cookie my daughter baked for him. Ingredients are pumpkin, whole wheat flour, cinnamon and egg:)

Ok so this is my entry... but to understand it.. you have to understand the story.

I'll do a picture prompt so you'll get the idea.

"Fine... I'll eat this instead."

OOOH Whats this?

jugoya-albums-updates-been-while-picture16846-yummy.jpg

"THis is MY Glass. MINE."

((Note no bird in this script had pizza or beer. This is just an ordinary evening at my house... Porter must have his own glass of yummies or he will go after mine every time. Same with pizza... at least an apple is a suitable bribe to get him away from my food. There is watered down cranberry juice unsweetened in his glass... sour is better apparently.))

I love your commentary!! I so need to try the cranberry juice like you fixed for him, my guys love juice so much and I bet they would love the tartness. Great pictures! Which one are you using for your entry? It will be hard to choose, they are all so fantastic!

The first one is my entry blurry pictures are because of my phone and catching him in the act xD
It's freshly squeezed actually lol blended fruit that I strain as I heat it

I got so caught up in all the great pics I missed which one you entered! My apologies:)
So you just boil the cranberries as if you were making cranberry sauce then strain the water?

Thanks a bunch, I am definitely making some:)

When we first got Gizmo we were unaware that he was a sprite-a-holic. Glasses of sprite could not be left unattended. Photo is a result of his obsession. (no worries, he is not allowed sprite)

I'm wanting to see some more entries! I love seeing a parrot enjoying their food:)

Here is a photo of Pebbles (my female eclectus). I wanted to share it as it's probably the best picture which shows Pebbles personality, but you have to take a second look.

Pebbles is a quiet girl, a total sweaty, but she is also a bit cheeky and not afraid to break the rules, few people get to see it, and it rarely shows through on video or in a picture.

I have been doing harness training, and Pebbles has noticed where the almonds come from:D. So I set up this trap to catch her flying down to the table and stealing an almond. Sure enough it didn't take long, and true to form she was soon stealing an almond from the bag.

That would be a nice photo, but Pebbles took it to the next level.....if you look at the photo, and specifically her right foot, you will notice she already has an almond.:D Pebbles knowing she was breaking the rules decided why steal one almond when you can steal 2, so after grabbing one almond, she switched it from her beak to her foot and then went back for a second.

This photo is shortly after, she is eating the almond she had in her foot, but what I'm sure she is hoping, is that I didn't notice the second almond to her left that she had to drop (she hasn't yet learned how to fit 2 almonds in her mouth:D)

(The first photo is the entry)

Cameron, your entry cracked me up! I so love how Pebbles had that almond hidden while she tried to get another!

I dont know if other parrots do this, but when Salty and I are training ( and I use little pieces of pine nut), he will hold one piece under his tounge, in the little pocket of his lower beak, while he munches up one in his upper beak. Only reason I know, is cuz I was looking down and saw the piece there.
