They are pretty light and only where pictured. I can't imagine why she'd have them! I just noticed them.

She was really hard on her feathers when her wings were growing out. So maybe it's something that happened then. Otherwise the only stressful events she's really had are her first vet visit, getting her nails clipped, and a couple weeks ago when she flew into the window But aren't these supposed to be caused when the feather is growing? So it likely wouldn't be from the window incident just a couple weeks ago? They don’t mean she’s stressed though! It also happens when the feather is bumped or experienced trauma (like a conure rolling around!)
Oh! I meant to say, yes, that’s when stress bars form. But aren't these supposed to be caused when the feather is growing?
Opie is so PRETTY! That vibrant blue is just stunning. Oh how I would love to meet that little guy!Opie will be a year old tomorrow and still has some on feathers that haven't molted yet. His wings looked a lot like Tom's when he first came home!
My vet said it happens while the feathers are developing so Ona's could all be before you got her
This is not the best picture but this was the only one without the dog pulling all the laundry out of the basket across the room lol
