Guys, just wanted to share this... it has been almost one year since I got my very precious JellyBean from the pet store. I remember just walking in one day looking for dog food and seeing him in the corner. I had never had a bird, nor being in contact with one... I just fell in love. He was the cutest thing I ever saw, and I knew he wanted to go home with me.
Well, I went home, did loads of research and thought this is going to be too much.. But the next day I went back and the held him and petted him, and within 2 minutes bought him. It was then a frantic two days to get all his stuff - cage, and food and tonic and perches and loads of toys. I was so scared and excited to get him home.
Ever since then he has been a pure joy in my life... when I go home and yell JellyBean and he comes flying to me.. when he snuggles into my ear and says "love-you" .. when he ruffles up and gets cranky.. when he swoops around the house screeching like a banshee.. biting my toes when he is scolded...I cannot believe that such a small creature has so much personality..
I want to say thank you to everyone in this forum who has helped me during this year as a first time bird owner.. you all were brilliant and patient in your advice and help. JellyBean says THANK YOU!!!
