An old love

For months I have hidden one of Syd's toys because it always had an adverse affect on his behaviour. Believe me if Syd could have babies with this particular toy I would be over-run! A couple of days ago I did a full spring clean of his cage and re-fit. I didn't realise that I had pinned this particular toy on top of his cage where he has an arrangement of perches. He never hangs out much there as a rule. I have suddenly realised today that this feather ball is not on my shoulder in his usual place. He is on the top of his cage wrapped around this old toy. His face is a picture and says it all about where his love really is! We might be in for a raunchy time of it! I shall have to remove it again when he isn't looking - but not today bless him.

Oh goodness, my BFA Cuckoo had one like that. Looked like a yellow cone with mop strings, and yeah, we affectionately named it Moppy. Cuckoo LOOOOOVED Moppy... every chance he could get. If we took Moppy away, his second choice was to try grabbing on and violating my wife's hair. He clearly didn't appreciate us stopping those attempts, but... no thank you!
