Absorbic and Citric acids? Safe for birds?

I planned on making some birdie bread. I went to Whole Foods and got an organic baby food to add to it. While reading the label I noticed it contained(along with organic fruits) Absorbic Acid and Citric Acid. Is this safe for my eclectus? Can I still make him his bread with this baby food? I would die if I lost him.

Those are both vitamin C sources, so would be OK.....

Thanks weco! Thats a very helpful article, I had no clue. I generally read the ingredients label on EVERYTHING I buy but was in a hurry and just grabbed. I'll definitely pay even more attention now. Thanks!
