Well, I got my first one from a friend. Then I got one here and there so that nobody would be alone. My last two passed on at almost the same time so I haven't gotten any more since then. I have a dog now who is a bit of a hunter so I don't know how much out-of-cage time a bird would get.

I could still use a cockatiel model if anyone is interested.

I have 2 Cairn Terriers that will kill anything that moves. They are afraid of my DYH Amazon, but they want to eat the littler ones. They don't get a chance to be near them and my birds get a 5 or 6 hours out of cage time. They get to fly, I have a pvc gym, I have 4 java trees. Everything has a bunch of toys hanging off it. I have a forage box with Avian teas, little chewable toys and treats in it. I bring in flowers from outside. It's like their little bird sandbox 😊

I have a Ringneck, a Superb, a DYH Amazon and a Golden Conure. Always willing to try something new and good fir my birds.
