Hi everyone

My 1 year old Male cockatiel is sick since two days. He is having a watery poop. I visited the doctor yesterday and he asked me to give antibiotics. But his poop is still the same. Could anyone suggest what it could be. I have attached snap of my bird and his poop

You have my thoughts and prayers. Remember that antibiotics don't work overnight. Follow vet recommendations. Did he do a culture to make sure the correct antibiotic is being used?

Poor baby! Follow the vets instructions and don't miss doses if medicine.
Don't feed any veggies until he gets better. Just a dry pellet and/or seed diet of familiar items only. Veggies can make poop even more watery and are harder to digest.

It's definitely a diarrhea but technically it's not dysentery (google it), which is diarrhea with blood and mucus. Dysentery is very serious. Diarrhea can be bad too but without blood it is not as bad.
He should get better. Make sure he has lots of fresh water so he doesn't get dehydrated.
If he's not better in a couple days bring him back to the vet. I hope they're an avian vet not a dog and cat only vet. If it doesn't improve they may have to change antibiotics.
I hope he gets better soon.

Remember - always give the complete course of antibiotics! Stopping early or not getting the full dose into the bird means the weak bugs get killed off but the stronger strains survive and the infection can come back stronger then ever. Good Luck!
