R.I.P Kiwiberry, GCC.
Yesterday was 1 year ago since Kiwiberry passed. I went back to my old neighborhood where she's buried, I took some pictures and talked to Kiwiberry for a little while.
I'll just share a few of the pics I took yesterday, I don't really wanna write up a whole story, I already did that when she passed, I just wanted to make this thread anyway though. I miss her so much.

Fly free my pride, my joy and my love.

I picked these and put them on her grave after.

I heard this blackbird's beautiful song and tried to find him, which took me a couple minutes. I love the way blackbirds sing.

A cute duck family, I liked this picture the most because of the cute *DUCKLINGS* (Melissa) that are in focus.

Yesterday was a great day despite the circumstances!

I am sorry Sebastian, it is very hard to deal with such a loss. Having a location to help focus the memories is helpful.

Fly free, Kiwiberry. You will always be remembered.

Yeah it was really hard for a while after, even if I didn't get to have her for very long at all, I got really attached to her. She really was amazing.

I'll post a picture of her after school, I'm getting ready right now.

Sebastian, that was so nice that you were able to go to see Kiwiberry. Beautiful that you heard a blackbird too, and you found him! I'm so glad you had a nice day despite the sad circumstances. RIP precious Kiwiberry. Thank you for sharing.

Yeah, now I'm just waiting for myself to feel ready to become a parront again, I'll give it some more time though, we'll see how I feel after summer.

So sorry for your loss and anniversaries can be so hard but your flowers are beautiful and also the ducks and the blackbird pics and it was especially nice that the Blackbird sang for you...rest assured that your Angel Kiwiberry will smile down on those flowers and on you and be close to you always bringing you daily Blessings from Rainbow Bridge :smile016:

Aww Sebastian, yesterday was doolies one year anniversary as well, so I understand.it hurts. The photos are beautiful and you'll know when it's the right time to become a parront again, I didn't wait long...six days...wish I would have but wouldn't trade sissy for anything. Sending you a hug.

Sebastian, what a touching thing to do on a sad, special day. Beautiful photos, I'm glad you had the sweet encounters with the blackbird and the duck family. I know it still hurts, I'm sorry for the pain you're feeling.

You will always be remembered, Kiwibird. Fly free, Little One.

What a sweet way to spend the day, reading your update thread made me tear up. Sending hugs your way, Kiwiberry will ALWAYS be remembered  (hugs)

What a wonderful way to honour Kiwiberry yesterday. It is a testament to the impact that our beloved feathered and furry family members have on our lives and hearts that they are remembered forever with such love. I feel that Sweet Kiwiberry may have been sending you a message with the blackbird's song.

Reading the comments made me tear up, but I'm smiling too lol
Mariar, I saw that... I wanted to reply to the thread but I didn't know what to say... I am so sorry for your loss though, how have you been dealing with it?
I got an eclectus not too long after Kiwiberry, but it was a pretty bad decision on my part so I had to rehome him, but he's got a great home now and he's even got a little wifey now!! I still keep in touch with the family who has him.

You might be right :) it was a really nice day yesterday, I just wish she could've been with me physically. I carry a necklace in memory of her.

Beautiful pics of your cutie :)! We're fortunate that it's so easy to have so many pictures now with all the devices nowadays. You have some great ones there.

Terry, I believe you might be right too... Kiwiberry was sending her message to Sebastian by sending a blackbird with his beautiful song. What are the chances he would be right there?

The beautiful pictures brought tears to my eyes. I am so glad you have such wonderful pictures, as well as memories. What kind of necklace do you carry (if you don't mind me asking?) I have been thinking about doing that as well for my Chazzie.

It's a name tag with her information on it; name, the date I got her (I never found out her hatch date), the date she passed and her band information and it has a cross next to it on the chain, that piece came when I still had Kiwiberry, so she's touched it before, which is pretty special.
I can take a phone picture and try to upload it using Tapatalk :) You can do that with Tapatalk, right?

I have so many pictures and videos of her, I do agree that we're very lucky like that. It's amazing I can still hear her and see her move when she's not here anymore, I won't ever be able to forget that now 'cause I can just watch a video. Technology does have some purpose sometimes, I have to admit :21:

Thank you for sharing the details of your necklace. I love everything about it, especially the fact that she once touched it. I don't use Tapatalk so can't help with that question, I just know how to use Photobucket for uploading. Hopefully someone else can help as I would love to see it.
