I got one video where he starts laughing inside the tube, it cracked me an Geri up so much she jiggles the camera. He has more new tricks, we just didn't video them the other night.

I was showing my Amazon your videos and the one he really liked was where Salty went into the tube. He got all big eyed with Salty came out the other side! Thanks for the moment!

Salty loves watching other parrots on youtube, its pretty amazing. He even get jealous if I make believe I am scratching the parrot on the screen.

'Boats BTW I took some of your advice. I had to work on my car today, and so Salty would not contact call like crazy when I went in and out, Geri brought him over to the window so he could see me outside, and I waved to him so he saw me. Geri said he was pretty good about it then. Usually if he knows I am home, and I go downstairs or outside, he lets us all know he is an AMAZON, and contact calls, loudly, for me.

Salty is amazing! Which one took the longest to learn?

Probably playing the xylophone. But long is a relative word with Salty; he gets most tricks in 2 sessions. That one took 3. If he likes a trick he does it in 1 or 2 tries. The Peek-a-boo tube trick, he did it the first time I asked him to, it was pretty awesome. Some tricks, like ones involving colors, he gets stubborn - we have one where he is supposed to put colored rings onto a color coded post; he knows the action of putting a ring onto a post well, but he will mess up the colors, sometimes on purpose. And he will refuse a trick sometimes, rarely. He used to mostly trained to put a harness on, but he just decided one day that he was not going to do that anymore. He does his laugh a lot during training sessions because he gets a tiny schnibble of treat to do it. Not every time, but when he does a particularly funny or clear one I can't resist and he gets one. His Daddy loves him a lot! My fav trick is the pole dance, and usually after that one, he and I have a intimate nose to beak chat where I tell him how much I love him, and that that's my favorite trick. He rewards me with a particularly heart laugh most times.
