You know you're a bird owner when ?? Add yours

When you have a "Special" tool kit near the cage just for those cage emergencies brought on by mechanically inclined BEAKS!

When you go to McDonalds and buy a happy meal just because you know your bird will love playing with the toy.

...when you find yourself dreaming about your birds and wake up in the middle of the night, wishing it was morning so you can go play with them:)

When you have a credit card on file at your local avian veterinarian!

When you finally hear someone call you, "That crazy bird lady."

you find yourself chewing on wood testing it before you give it to the bird
when flipping the bird is a funny thing

When your purse is full of snacks and wet wipes... Because the bird is going to get hungry while you are out, and she is going to poop on your shirt as well!

When you know the sun is up even if you have blackout curtains on your bedroom windows because the whole house is announcing it and demanding breakfast.

When your enoghbors ask why you run your AC instead of your ceiling fans, which would be cheaper.

When you go dig up regular dirt instead of using potting soil, because you know plan to feed the plants to your fids and can't have them being poisoned!

When no piece of fresh produce is ever wasted.

When the notification that someone is at the door is much, much louder than a barking dog or doorbell could ever be.

Well, you are a bird owner if you OWN A BIRD! :D When 90% of the literature you read is bird related and you spend more money on your birds than on yourself and keep thinking all time how to make them happier. :)
But actually, you REALLY know that you are a real bird owner when your bird gets sick or injured and you spend all the time and energy trying to help him/her. After Parry got injured I feel like I have a sick naughty child at home.

When u no longer have earings in your ears cause a naughty birdy has Lost either the earring or the butterfly for them all

When you no longer need an alarm clock to get up in the morning.

When someone asks you why you are tired and why you got up early if you were tired and you simply answer "birds" but then have to explain further to them.

When your husband brings you home random bird toy supplies and you're just as happy as if they were a bouquet of flowers hahaha

When you are too sick to do much cleaning and a good friend comes over and cleans your bird room, and that is the nicest thing anyone could do for you!

When you have to scour the house for poop spots when your husband has a senior officer coming over for dinner.
