Well, you are a bird owner if you OWN A BIRD! When 90% of the literature you read is bird related and you spend more money on your birds than on yourself and keep thinking all time how to make them happier.
But actually, you REALLY know that you are a real bird owner when your bird gets sick or injured and you spend all the time and energy trying to help him/her. After Parry got injured I feel like I have a sick naughty child at home.
