Yellow crowned amazon question

Is there a way to tell the age of an amazon parrot ? Maybe an avian vet could give me some kind of idea ?

And avian vet may get a rough estimate, but there isn't really any way to know other than keeping track.

Where did he come from? Does he have previous vet records or vaccination certificates?

what you really need to do is cut off the head, and see how many rings there are. Sorta like a tree.
