Can anyone describe what a yeast infection in the skin of thier conure smelled like? My girl has changed smells and I cannot tell if it is hormones(she just hit 2 years old), something in the environment her feathers are picking up, or a yeast infection. We have a vet appointment set up but I was just curious what your experiences were. She smells sort of like canned peas, it’s not too unpleasant, but it’s definitely different from the sweet vegetable smell she used to have, and I have to stick my nose in her feathers to smell it. I’m 99.9% sure it is not coming from her mouth as well.
