I met one of these guys this last weekend. All I can say is what an amazing creature. Can any one guess what this is called?

Aren't they Beautiful. They are a Palm Cockatoo from Cape York Peninsula in Far North Queensland, Australia. We are not allowed to keep them at all. I would dearly love to own one of these beauties.

This one is a Goliath Palm Cockatoo and I found the price between 15k - 20k

Ummmmm WOW! Guess I won't be adopting on of those until I win the Lottery.

When my Hubby retires I want to go to the tip of Cape York & see the Palm 2's & Eclectus in the wild.

i first seen one of these on that short lived "its worth what?" game show lol. omg i had no idea they existed! I researched... of course, and not only are they expensive, but so is their diet!

It is so much nicer to watch these kind of birds in their natural habitat rather than in a cage or aviary somewhere. They are meant to be wild.
