Thank you everybody. I'm feeling better today; struggling a little when Frootie bird wants to be snuggly, brings tears to my eyes. But luckily she's a world of difference to Verde Birdy

Few more days until the weekend and I can take the time to shop for pot, plant etc and put my little lady to rest.

I so bet she's loving flying free...without any windows and screens in sight hehe

So very sorry for your loss... I, too, have experienced this (was not there when it happened, my husband had left him in the room without locking the cage door... and when he came back in, Poor Wilbur was dead ) My heart goes out to you.

My heart goes out to you. It is hard enough to lose a little one, but when it is such a tragic cause, the grief is compounded. Take a little time out of your grieving and think about Verde girl in Rainbow Bridge. It relieves the hurt for a few minutes. Big hug.

Sorry Kags, my first conure George, my Jenday is buried in my front yard. Still miss the little guy. But Hahnzel, my little psycho doesn't let me sit still too long and mope about. Guess God knew what I needed and when I'd need it.
