Nutraloaf is a nasty, putrid, and cheaply made institutional food mostly served in jails/prisons. Made with vegetable protein, fiber, a smattering of veggies, tomato paste and other fillers. Baked in loaves and served sliced, the intent is to comply with basic nutritional requirements at minimal cost. AFAIK it is an actual product, though some facilities make their own similar witches brew.
I have no first-hand experience with Nutraloaf. Promise!!!
