Patagonians are banned in New Jersey, because it's thought that if escaped their extreme climate tolerance would make them into viable breeding populations.

Anyway... heartbreaking. Do we shoot feral cats and dogs??

The parrots here in So. Cal. Aren’t invasive just not native.
They don’t compete for food or nesting locations with native birds.

Mild climate and humans planting fruit trees and bird feeders. Parrots don’t dig for worms
Plus there native intelligence makes them very adaptable.
I think if there is any reason behind this horrible……….
I think it would be noise.
I hope they catch the person doing this.

This is so awful, it's scary to think of what kind of person would do this. I hope they're caught as well, and that the penalty is stiff enough that anyone else like this thinks twice.
