If you go to the link and see the mama in the nest, just keep watching! She will fly away shortly and you'll see a tiny little baby hummer!

I have never seen a baby hummingbird....it's so incredibly small!!
she is so pretty too, I love how the nest is made, it's so deep and she doesn't really sit on the chick either.

I was watching and checking all day yesterday! I was at the shelter today and missed the baby hatching!!! But awww..... when is the second egg expected? Were they 3 or 4 days apart?

They say the 2nd baby hatched "pre-dawn." Isnt it cute how she feeds them??? My birds are enjoying listening to the wild birds in the background of Phoebe's home, lol!
