are twice as much noise. Sometimes it is fun...but it is noisy.

So I introduced the Zons to each other over the weekend. Actually they introduced themselves... Patches (the white front) climbed off his cage. Sat on a basket for a few minutes and then climbed onto Whisper's cage. Whisper's beak went to Patches' foot but Patches didn't squawk and he didn't bleed or limb. So, I put both birds on the big play stand that I made and Whisper stayed on one side and Patches stayed on the orbital. And that's where they stayed every time I put them on the play stand.

At one point I put Patches away in his cage and before I could get back to get Whisper he had flown down to the floor and walked back to his cage and climbed up the cage and went in on his own. Wow!!!

Patches is really loud. I don't like it but I haven't figured out what he wants. If I try to play with him he tries to bite me. He does seem to be happy on the play stand but he still squawks loud and then that gets Whisper going and Whisper no longer whispers. :D He is loud but he is so cute.

One of the little buggers has learned how to whine like my dog. Seriously...?!

Glad to hear they are getting along. I would warn you to keep them away from each other's personal space (cage). If you think your house is loud, visit mine, i have 9 zons in the house,LOL.

Sounds like loads of fun! I will be joining you in February!

As long as Zilla's vet visit in late January goes well I will be bringing Bean home the first week of February.

Bean is a 6 year old DYH. :greenyellow:

Zilla has learned to "meow" like Simon, sounds just like him and when I look at her she says "what"

I have a cat named Simon too and when Patches sees Simon he makes a really loud noise so Simon goes running. Of course - Simon is mad at me for the birds so he pees all over the place. Soon he's going to pee on the birds if he gets a chance. :D So Patches doesn't meow...he scares Simon.

I am so happy for Bean and you.

I was watching them and then or course I got busy doing something else and when I looked back - on the cage he was. I got him off as quickly as I could but not before Whisper beaked him. Again, I'm not sure what he did and I didn't really try to take the time to figure it out. I didn't want to risk anything. Another time this past weekend they were both on the floor about 5 inches away from each other - again they didn't attack each other. I'm so lucky...I know that.

I do believe that each of them has the right to their own cage (room). Cage seems such a harsh word to me so when I want the birds to go back to their cages I now use the word room...to them.

Double the trouble! You'll have to share some pics of them as well:D

Jeez - that would mean that I would need to get my camera out. Now - just to be fair - I do have a camera. I take it with me almost every time to go to Massachusetts to see my daughter and her family...and I leave it in the suitcase. I enjoy the time with them and honestly forget about the camera. So, I guess it's time to start investing in the camera again - time. Got to find the cord too so I can down load the pics.

Well - I'm getting ready to leave the office now and I won't be back on again until Friday at the earliest. Have a Merry Christmas.

Very interesting. I love the moment when you first introduce a new parrot to another. It's very fascinating. Glad to hear they are getting along! :)
