If you haven't read my other thread I'm hopefully gettin a new eclectus soon, an was hoping people could throw some names at me for inspiration,

I've heard one eclectus female called nelani an I think that's really nice!!

Any suggestions? What's your birds names?

I like

Boy: Kyle
Girl: Pheobe

:)

Hmm, I think your talking about me. Haha, correct me if I'm wrong. ;) Her name is Nalani. It means "peaceful as the heavens/sky" in hawaiian. Although, Nalani isn't very peaceful. Hehe. She definitely makes a presence!!

My males name is Gannicus. My husband named him after some spartan or something. haha. I didn't really like it at first but I like it now. :) His name before I had him was Kiwi but I felt that name is too girly.

Yea, see those names are all so imaginative and nice :)! Suit the bird and sound really nice.

I like a few names,

Girls: Flo
Kimmy
Boys: Arnie
Hugo

More suggestions are really welcome :)!

Our boy's name is Kermit. I'm sure you can figure out why we called him that... ;)

Might help when I get her, maybe she can inspire some name.

I do like Pheobe though, probably my favourite so far loll

I have 2 males, both are quite cuddly boys and sometimes they are like putty in my hands lolol.
Their names are Jack & Marlie.
Mylah, Riley , Jazz & Pepper are nice names.

I like Robyn and Pepper loll :) they are really nice names.

Thanks for your suggestions, x

Pickle is named Pickle cause he squawked for the first time since arriving home and cocked his head sideways when we said it while brainstorming names. lol so he kind-of chose it himself

Zazu made the shortlist for me, but my mum wanted to be sure it was an easy word for him to say. Can parrots actually pronounce the 'Z' sound? or would it have just been a bit of a growl with nouns in the middle? XD
Also Percy, but the corella her father had was named that.

Our big green bird is named Greenie :D He came with the name and says "hi Greenie " in his old owner's voice and "hey Greenie " in her husband's

Ooh, I like Nim for a girl, and Alphie or Ralphie for a boy! ;)

Our Hahn's (female) name is Kalani, we usually just call her Lani :)

Mine is Poe, as in Edgar Allan Poe.
I have a fun idea of teaching Poe a couple of animal noises, but that a Raven goes "Nevermore".
Pick a name you like and like saying. If you like Phoebe, then stick with that.
Otherwise look up names that mean something, like Nalani's.
Suggestion wise, "Makani" means wind, also Hawaiian. Boys name, but sounds neutral.

Im struggling with names at the minute too. I usually use a character out of a book, movie or TV show. But just can find anything that fits with my Galah at the minute. My male Ecky is Jax after Jax from Sons of Anarchy. :)

I'm definitely in a name-picking bind as well! And I can't ask for help because I want the choice to be all mine/really fit the bird! Suggestions just turn me off of that name. I'm terrible, I know. Haha

I like all the suggestions, aaaaaaa this didn't help as much I thought it would. Now I like about 5 names loll.

I think without him being here finding one to fit him personally is tough.

I like reading all the names though so il keep updating.

I now like "Arizona" an "Izzie" too loll

Spike, Yoda, Fawkes, Misty, Penelope, Arroe, Kodak, Olive, Nagini, Tooke, Tonks, Pippin, Selvester, Neelix, and ummm...haha I'm not sure! XD Good luck!
