so whats your favorite mutation of cockatiel theirs so many its kinda hard to chose!!! :yellow1::white1::grey:

Its hard to choose but I chose the pied variation as there's heavy pieds, lutino pieds, etc etc. I think their gorgeous! And one of my babies is a lutino pied and he's beautiful! :)

I have one normal gray. Even though he is just gray, he is so handsome with his yellow and bright orange patch on his head and cheeks! :)

I think the most beautiful cockatiel is my friends 12 year old female pearl(white faced I think). So stunning!

Sushi, my friends pearl

Wow the pearl looks alot like a black 'too, the variety with more white in their plumage! Gorgeous! Anyway I chose other, although it isn't a mutation, the "Galatiel" is a BEAUTIFUL hybrid of a galah and a cockatiel. I usually don't support hybridisation but that is gorgeous, and since either birds aren't endangered in the wild, it's not detrimental to the environment.:)

wings i have never heard of a galatiel i just looked them up i agree there beautiful! :)

I agree, cockatiels have such pretty mutations, and occasionally hybridizations :)

since I have Lutinos, pearls, pieds, cinnamon, white face, & albino,, I love them all for different reasons.
everyone of them are beautiful in their own way, but I do love a pearl

pearls for me, of any variety! i have two pearls myself (a male and a female, males lose the pearls and look like male greys however they keep some certain traits that distinguish them from greys)

Since we're posting Cockatiel Pics...here's a couple of my recent babies right now... :)

Whitefaced! I adore them! Whitefaces cinnamons are pretty too, and whitefaced pearls and whiteface cinnamon pearls! (And I'm speaking for male and female, plain gray female white faces are adorable).

Just no peid, thank you. I just think it makes them look like a splotch of bird poop, haha

Aren't they adorable! Those were taken last night...didn't take one of the whiteface cause he's still quite nekked yet...lol

OH MY GOSH, Mikey!!!! They are ADORABLE!!!!! I'll take the first one, pretty please. GORGEOUS!!!! :D

Wendy,

That first baby is a very pretty pied as he would be more of a lutino pied. He have more yellow then grey, beautiful baby!!! These two are my great grand babies as I have the pair that started it all. I kept one of their boys that I raised and here's his babies. :)
