lmao Skycon. Yes Im intimidated by large birds as well but since I'm hand feeding it and raising it I will know it's personailty and actions so I can see things coming b4 they hit! LOL OMG last night I startled the little thing and he was SCREAMING HAHA OMG was he screaming... I was talking to him softly and petting him to calm him down.. Poor thing.. I took the blanket off the tank in the kitchen and the light was on and he opened his eyes and started screaming! HAHA

That to me is the best and easiest way of doing it.

Jessie, he's the smallest macaw I've ever seen. I didnt know they had green on their head. Merlins head is red, my avatar is a old picture, when he was 1 year old. The little devil broke my camera, I've never replaced it.

Aw, that was adorable! My husband watched it and wants a hand fed baby so bad.

They do have green on their heads! I learned a bit about blue and gold macaws a while ago because I digitally painted one and someone caught the error in my ways. lol. They told me they didn't have yellow feathers at the end of their wings. Which was disappointing because the stock picture I referenced did. : ( That is what I get for not researching my subjects! lol

WELL , as his feathers are coming out... I noticed they are turquoise and not the Dark blue that i wanted... I always wanted to get one that had some feathers so i knew i was getting the color i wanted... I feel like i completely fked myself.... Im so pissed i'm crying! I'm attached but i'm pissed and I want him but i dont now.. I'm so mad!!!!!!!!!!
