Saw this on Craigslist this morning and she looks like a poi to me. Either way she isn't a green wing O_O
I can't really see much color other than grey... any poi experts want to help me identify her?

the eye looks very "Amazon" to me. But seems too small and of course the wrong color

But all I can safely say is that's a brown parrot. I'd report that ad though, it's screaming scam or stolen parrot to me

I'm not sure. I'm in no way looking to add another parrot so I'm not buying it lol. But it's from my hometown area and there is very little parrot knowledge out there. It looks very much like a poi to me I just can't think of any that seem to be so very GRAY.

same, but I know very little on species. I only found out about species aside from Macaws, Cockatoos, African Grays, Cockatiels and Budgies this year. My brain is very much full of birdy info now! Too much I think! haha

I am wary about that advert as it just seems a bit... "off"

At best the person is vastly ignorant, at worst a scammer.

Exactly my thoughts. I wish there was some sort of regulation or law passed to try and tie down people scamming and help those who are ignorant, but alas that wont happen for a long time

Looks like she could be a female Red Bellied.

I think so!

Not. A green wing. At all.

The "last chance for this offer" is what makes it feel scammy to me. I met a car salesman like that once......

Given the geography of that area and the crappy photos I think it's just major ignorance. Either way I'm not getting it I just didn't recognize the bird lol.

Yeah. What do they mean by last chance? It should be the only chance for that bird, or is this somehow the only surviving member of the species? Seems a bit dodgy to me. the only thing missing is them saying you need to pay a deposit to visit. I almost got scammed like that

I couldn't do a reverse image search using the embedded screenshot, but it looks 99% like the typical Craigslist scam. Bad grammar, improper description of the bird, etc.

I hate those people. Seriously do they ever work? There's one I've seen of someone selling a cockatiel for ÂŁ550! It's a clear scam. I'm sure you've seen the video of the cockatiel singing along with a keyboard? Someone just did a screen grab of the video and has put it up on a website with all the "great parrot sings with any tune" ETC

It's the most pathetic thing going IMO

You're right about the poi... It looks like a brown headed parrot to me.

Tend to be on the shy side. Can be shy biters. Who wants to bet on the reason they're getting rid of her... Seriously, though, GREENWING?!
