Actually, eclectus are generally considered really good talkers. Some even claim top 2 or 3, and they're always in the conversation for top 5. Bixby just refuses to acknowledge that fact. I personally think he's just mocking us, but maybe that's just me.

I'm totally with Stephen about the issues you have with the camera and your pretty face.

I'd write down a to-do list for mum. She'll be able to take care of Fargo just fine, no doubt in my mind. And what about Sam? He can help, too. He could play video games in YOUR room instead of his, and that way Fargo would have company.

No wayyy! Sam has never come within 5 meters of Fargo.. He won't come into my room, and if Fargo is out in the house he just stays in his room.. He is terrified

Then maybe Fargo would have to remain more cage-bound than he's used to. Only 2 nights a week though, right? Would Sam be willing to change food and water if the big, bad, cuddly Fargo is at least in his cage? Because Wendy's idea makes perfect sense. Fargo would at least have company, right?

It is on the 25th of August, i will fly up on the monday morning, and come home on the wednesday evening, and that is it until next year So it isn't too long i guess!

This year has gone very fast!

I agree with Allee- maybe have your mom start spending time with him now, and by the time you have to leave those two will be peas in a pod! Lol. I'm sure Fargo will do fine though- he seems to be a "go with the flow" kinda guy [emoji4]

Wait a minute! You mean you were only talking about a SINGLE trip of three days and two nights?!? I thought you meant that this was a class that you had to physically attend, and that you would have to basically dorm 3 days and 2 nights out of every week for the entire semester due to your distance from the campus!

Okay. I gather we were on the same page, just different paragraphs. Haha! Well, your ACTUAL situation makes this MUCH simpler.

I don't doubt that Fargo will miss you, as closely bonded as the two of you are. But I'm fairly certain that he'll recover quickly enough once you get back home. If someone can spend some time with him while you are gone, great. But even if not, so long as his basic needs are being met, he'll be fine.

HAHAHA GUYS YOU AREN'T GETTING IT!! I am the one who is going to be a mess, not Fargo! :09: hahaha

About 2 and a bit years ago, when i only had Klaatu, no other horses and no Fargo, i went to Sydney for 3 days... and i couldn't even handle leaving Klaatu... I was sooo upset and worried.. :31:



But- Yessss, we only do it once or twice a year

I think i have another in March next year!


These are just schools where they teach us the procedures and stuff !

and then in April/May we start our station placement for 6 weeks i think.. But we get stationed at an ambulance station which is close to us, so i will get to come home and be with Fargo each day still!


The longest i have spent away from Fargo was the horse riding accident, when i was gone from about 2pm, and he was alone all night and then i got home the next day at about 11am..

So he was fine for one night alone.. But 2 nights will be interesting!

Oh boy- can't help ya there [emoji52] maybe practice some breathing exercises or try not to worry too much. I totally get it though- we haven't gone on vacation in years because I get horrible anxiety of leaving my babies at home. [emoji30]
