I am hoping to make some friendships through this forum with other bird lovers, and share knowledge and tips!

My boyfriend and I just adopted two Amazons from a bird rescue.
1 Yellow Crowned Amazon in her 20's.
1 Yellow Naped Amazon, age 9.

We've only had them 5 days now, and have so many questions and thoughts to share. Please feel free to comment, we are new bird parents, so we have a lot to learn.

Very nice birds, they look healthy! Welcome to the forum. You should join our social group, Bonding with Amazons. If you go to the blue bar near the top of the forum page you will see the word "Community". Click on that and then click on "Social Groups" to find us. Henpecked is out of town right now (he is our leader), but most of the rest of us are around right now. There are already a lot of good discussions on there to read.
