I ordered some seat covers online a couple of weeks ago to replace the seat covers that my daughters dog chewed on while taking him to the vet. I ordered solid red and Black. But I was sent these instead. Needless to say, My wife isn't happy with them at all. She asked if I thought I was some kind of Pimp daddy and wasn't I a little too old for seat covers like that. Well, I didn't think so before, but after that unsolicited comment I do now.

I bought them on Ebay, it would cost close to what I paid for them to ship them back. Oh well, she'll get used to them eventually:rolleyes:

Haha! What a shame, I'd downrate the seller for selling you products that were mislabeled or some such!

I think they look snazzy ;)

Haha those are pretty loud!

Is this what you though you were getting? If not send them back. eBay has some strict policies and of these were mislabeled or falsely advertised the seller should pay for the to return them. And if she hates them now, no she will not get use to them.

I say complete the whole look...lots of bling, a sherbet-orange suit, hat w/feather (sure you got lots of those). 2013, summer of the pimp. :)

Ha ha Funny your the easy going one that says "We will get used to it " LOL

Actually I kind of liked them after I tried to make contact with the seller and they ignored me so I left them not so great feedback. It's kind of like making lemon aid out of lemons I guess.

Fortunately for me, These are for my car and not her's, so she will not have to tolerate them very often other than seeing them in passing hahahahaha. This is why anything that I buy on Ebay, I treat as disposable income. I have bought things on Ebay that were great and then I have also bought things on Ebay that wasn't so great.:41:
This is one of those items that are great seat covers if you are into flashy. I can't complain about the quality at all. The covers actually cost about $20.00 more than the covers I originally ordered.

I agree with Wdlodge and make ebay seller pay for the return. Sometimes the sellers would rather you contact them personally before putting in a bad review and they will do anything to not get a bad review. I often get an email right after the purchase with a note that says call me first before you put in a bad review and give me a chance to make things right.

In the meantime ... Enjoy Pimp Daddy!!! Break out the Mod Squad bell bottoms!

just read that you already did try to contact them ... Better get sunglasses so you don't get cataracts from looking at them directly.

I agree with WD, if you are going to operate an online business, your quality control should be equal to or better than that of your competitors...and... WD's right about Ebay's strict return policy for wrong merchandise...message the seller, they're usually anxious to correct problems.....be sure to request a return shipping label, otherwise you may only get an RMA...when they conveniently forget to send one.....

Mike, If that happened to me, I'm the type who would go to the local 2nd hand stores & see if I could find an ice cream suit & a Panama hat to wear in my Pimpmobile.....if only for the enjoyment of the effect it would have on wife & daughter........

lol your birds will be the coolest fids on the block! You guys should get matching suits and see if you can set them up with a few "hens" :D

Buy some beach towels that you like and throw them over your covers, that you, (or your wife), don't like. That was my solution to my husbands choice of seat covers. :)
