Bella has been very, very vocal tonight. She has been pondering something in her cage for a good 30 minutes saying hmmm... if only I knew what she was thinking about :D

She has responded very well to her clicker training and I am very proud of her :D We are going to start working on the basics for a few "tricks" later this week. Unfortunately, this week is very busy so training time will be limited but I am hoping to have her in normal routine soon?

:green2:

I agree, I'd love to know what they are thinking - life would be soooo much easier then.

What good news about the clicker training!:D What do you use as a treat?

Right now I am using fresh kiwi (she loves it!) fresh banana, and today I am picking up sunflower seeds (she never, ever gets these) so it will be a big treat for her :)

Bella is probably thinking: hmmmmmm what do I do for some Kiwi.....hmmmmmmm

lol!

You're so lucky she likes mushy food, unlike some. *looks pointedly at her shoulder*

hahahahh Cal :) I gave her kiwi for the first time the other day and she didn't even look at Zack when he walked in the door (usually she yells hi, drops her food and runs over). She must love it! I think she likes it because of the little seeds that she can break apart? I am going to get sunflower seeds today for training treats. She has never had them before so we will see how she reacts to them!!!!

The worst part is that she laughs at you and teases you. I fell down the stairs and she goes "hahahah" from the other room, she didn't even see me. She just knew. hahaha. She is such a joy :D:green2:

Oh she will LOVE sunflower seeds - they all do!

Too many is bad as we know, but the right amount is so so nutritious for our fids.

That is why I have never given her sunflower seeds before. I don't want her to be addicted. But she does need to gain another 10 grams or so (still!! we have slowly gained 6 grams) sooo maybe it will be a good thing that I am using those for treats during her special training time. Today she laid with her back in my palm and her feet up. She stayed that way for a good 2 minutes and let me take a picture. I will upload it here soon :D

Mishka dislikes sunflower seeds and refuses to eat them. I have tried offering them to him, as a treat when training, with no luck. He takes it and literally throws it.
Come to think of it, Mishka does not take treats. Each night when having his yoghurt, he now automatically does what he is suppose to........
I think I have a very strange bird........

You have a bird that is more human than bird Ant - this is why! :D

I don't like sunflower seeds, even though Cal does try so hard to share them with me!
