While on the topic of birdie bathing, I'll post my video of billie bathing in his water bowl. He does this at least once a day. I have tried giving him a bigger bowl to bath in and I take him in the shower with me but he just sits on the curtain rod and stays out of the water. He insists on bathing in this tiny bowl that he obviously doesn't fit in! Although he sure does try hard to cram his whole body in there. Sorry for the bad quality and no audio, for some reason my camera doesn't record audio.

Sean e-mailed me during the week and said him and Dee, his girlfriend will visit over the weekend (hope they make it, I miss them so much)
I have not told Mishka, heaven forbid if they do not make it, what will Mishka then have to say !!!!!!

I tried to video Mishka for over a year. I tried everything, and I mean everything. Eventually got it right.
I must find the thread for you
Don't ever give up, you will get it eventually

I know the feeling ever so well. I sat under a table, hide behind couches.

This is what I eventually did. Left the camera near his cage for almost 4 months.
Never tried to video him, he sat in his cage, observing the camera.

Each time when feeding him his formula, in the kitchen, on his little stand, I left the camera on a box in front of him.
I let him get used to the camera each morning, clicking away taking pictures of him.
One day I tried to video him, and wallaaaaaaah. He's sat there happy and content, chatting away.
Most of my close up videos taken of Mishka are videoed in the kitchen.

Hey guys, havent posted here in a while (probably since I got my Jardine a while back) Been busy with the bird obviously and just got a salwater aquarium + work etc you know how it is... Anyways I took this video about two weeks ago of my Jardine. He doesnt talk yet but some of the noises that come out of him are just incredible. He occasionally does this little dance where he sways his tail side to side and he puts his wings at his side its so odd, has anyone else seen this type of behaviour in their birds and know what it might mean? Hes feeding on: Nutriberries (vegetable, spicey and papaya, ZuPreem Fruitblend, Vegetable blend, nut blend, Avian Entrees wild and spicey, tropican pellets and tropican sticks. Yes he eats 7 types of food, but hates vegetables and fruits lol. Heres a link to the video:

And Dwayne is so gorgeous!
That's the first time ive seen a Jardine parrot. I don't think you can get them where I live. But he is very beautiful
