From Cape Town to Pretoria.........omg how long did that trip take? AND what speed were you traveling?
How ever was driving, he was trying his best to catch a piece of hair to preen.
Sure looked like they enjoyed the trip.
Lot of wind blowing there, be very careful with the birds......

the trips take a while! roughly 15hrs...but with the birds in the car, we stop at guesthouses before dark. we were hitting a head-on wind somewhere outside Bloemfontein when the vid was taken...cruising speed 100-120 ..they were out of the wind completely during the trips except at this part. . I was the driver..and nope...no preening! lol. I can assure you she looked extra well groomed after that!

Sparky so far has traveled over 10 000km in the last year and this was Jin & Sun's first trip. They so far have seen Cape Town, Port Elizabeth, Bloemfontein, Kimberley, Potchefstroom, Pretoria and a few towns inbetween.

Ok, so, Cal has been making the kissy noise recently and I have struggled to get it on tape!

This vid is pretty poor quality as silly me left my camera downstairs and this is from my phone!

I find this vid interesting because of 2 reasons. The first, is that Cal displays aggressive behaviour towards my new mobile LOL! She loved the old one and loves the camera, but the second I aim this phone at her she is not happy!!! This is the first time I have EVER seen her show aggression. I have only ever read about it on books and seen it in videos! She does not mind if it is close, it is when it is further away from her???? Silly girl.....

Clearly it did not bother her TOO much though as she does the kissy noise! It is so very clear Dave thought it was me. I decided to make one myself after her so you could hear her acuracy! On Ant's advice, she is now trying to say "kiss kiss" after the kissy noise! I will keep my actual camera beside me this evening to see if she will do it for you!


Additionally, excuse the angle, I erm, haven't quuuiiite figured everything out yet - clearly haha! Maybe this is what she was trying to tell me......

"I will not sing at Steve Hofmeyers bday for anything less that 6 figures!!!!" hahaha, he charges R40 000 for an hour!!! Crazy!
