Sooo, they are keeping him for another day. I received a very short text this morning...he is doing well and eating well. Well, that just wasn't enough information...so I phoned and they said he is not getting injected any longer, his medicine is now given to him in his water. But he is behaving himself, and perking up for attention when one of them enters the room. They say he is still in ICU though. Now not sure at all when he is coming home. They still don't want me to come see him. [emoji20]

I just don't understand why you can't go see him...seems like he would get better even quicker with a visit from his loved one:( I am hoping he can come home soon.

Guess who's back?? Lol, I finally got the word today that Charlie can come home. Best news ever. Had to wait until after work to go fetch him, but when I walked in the room and picked him up, he said "Hello Charlie" and then again "Hello" ....then leaned over and gave me a kiss. (The nurse that has been working with him said it was the first words she has heard him speak) That was followed by a quick fluff of the feathers with a shake of the tail feathers. It was awesome! So glad to have him back. [emoji8] When it was finally bedtime, I had another awesome moment. Milo and Charlie's cages are right opposite each other in my lounge. I was still watching TV and both cages was covered for the night already. Then I started hearing this "in stereo" beak grinding. From what I have read is that that is a sign of contentment, which makes me very happy. But to hear it from both cages at the same time....priceless!

Thank you guys for all the support an understanding the last couple of days. You rock!

YAY! I am so thrilled that Charlie is finally back home with you! That is fantastic news:) I can only imagine how happy he was to see you (and you to see him!!!)

Awesome news!!!!! :jumping40

Wonderful! I'm so glad Charlie is back and well again :). To hear the beak grinding from both of them is so satisfying... Milo is relieved as well!
