I never understood why people would shy away from posting where they're from.....

People new to forums may just be unaware how/where to put the information in. Perhaps include a couple of lines in the "welcome to the forum" email inviting people to enter their pets and location and how to do it?

People new to forums may just be unaware how/where to put the information in. Perhaps include a couple of lines in the "welcome to the forum" email inviting people to enter their pets and location and how to do it?

Every person who signs up has the option of listing where he lives, what birds he/she has, etc. It is entirely optional, but the opportunity IS given.

For those who opt NOT to provide that information, they can add it later on. It is under "User CP" (on top of the page), and then on the top right "Edit Your Details."
