Just had a pot handle smolder on an old pan. I caught it right away but it got the smoke out right away but it has left a horrible smell in my house. I have fans going and doors open to cycle fresh air in to the house. Birds seem to be fine. Can the residual smell harm them. I am scared senseless

How are you little ones doing now? I've had something similar happen to me and it is truly terrifying, but thankfully mine were ok. Keep those doors and windows open and the fans blasting for as long as you can, and contact your vet if you have any cause for concern. And I hope your birds will be ok too! 🙏 🙏 🙏
