Update On Loki

Well We have been home for a few days now and Loki is feeling pretty good. He is still not eating on his own...But I feed him and he eats just fine. He is on a mostly all liquid diet, of ground up pellets, and a adult feeding formula mixed together which he gets twice a day, I also offer him his reg food in his cage if he wants to eat if softened but he has not so far, he also gets vegs cooked so they are soft. And last every night before he goes to bed he has yogurt.

I know it sounds like he is eating ALOT but he is under weight right right now and we are tring to get some grams on him before his next doctor visit. He is only 550 grams right now so they want us to work on that. Loki is a big cockatoo and they said that is to small. I have a video of him at home I will try and get it to upload and post it for everyone.

Awww, I'm sure he is just so appreciative to have such a caring mom! Since he IS eating, I'm sure he will continue to improve. Give him a special scritch from another Michelle

I am happy he is eating!! He will continue putting on weight, might be slower then mom wants, but he's on his way I am so happy he is doing well!!
