Update on Kiwi :D

Hey guys just giving a little update on my green cheeked conure Kiwi. He's doing amazing!!! He's still his lovable self who is not agressive at all and i'm really enjoying him. He is a bit skiddish and dosn't like to stay on my shoulder so that kinda sucks. He loves to take baths and also loves to be on top of his cage. He still hates Peeps and Peeps never gives him the chance to bite him so that's kinda a bummer. I've also been trying to daily put his flight suit on so he'll get used to it, he still hates it though lol. Oh and ever since i've gotten him the ONLY time he's ever nipped me was when I first put the flight suit on and that didn't even hurt! So he's not even nippy yet.

That's great! My little GCC Mishka is pretty skittish still too but it's only been 3 weeks today since we got her. She's coming along though, much better definitely than the super-shy bird she arrived as!

I want to eventually get an Aviator flight harness for her but for now she's clipped so it's kind of a moot point. Good luck getting her used to it! Maybe get a travel cage and each time you put it on her take her outside - it'll distract her at least, and if she likes going out perhaps it'll also provide positive reinforcement and a pleasant connection between the two!
