Um.. Your feathers, please?

Your budgies are really pretty ! All of Pepsi and sprites feathers are Floofies, but yesterday I found a tail feather from sprite.

Thank you Spooky has snow white feathers. I think they're so beautiful. I had soooooo many floofies on the floor I had to vacuum up after I was done sorting the good feathers from the bad feathers. All of the birds were looking at me like I was crazy sitting on the floor sorting feathers! My conures have beautiful feathers too, but they destroy theirs as soon as they fall off. Carlisle likes to play with his. Kayak likes to put hers in her food dish, sometimes her water dish.

Ahh, cite budgies!!! XD I went to a public bird/wild cat zoo, and I got the prettiest feathers!!! Even some ostrich and peacock ones! I'll post pics once I get home in about 8 hours, I'm on vacation and wifi is really scarce.

Oooooh!!! I'll bet that was exciting getting those feathers. Peacock feathers are soooo pretty.

I have a few of Romes crest feathers, and some small dark pink ones from Rosie. I've been wanting to make some earrings out of them but I'm not that crafty :11:

THANK YOU KENDRA!!! My very first envelope came today, I'm so giddy I can't stop smiling. I'm going to start 'Rosie-The Designer Earring Line" lol There are so many (all of them) that will turn out so pretty on earrings.

So, I don't know if I should be concerned with this or not. This morning there weren't any feathers at the bottom of Carlisle's cage. I was gone all day with class, dropping my mother off at the airport, running errands, etc etc etc. It was a busy, busy day. I was not prepared to come home and find this many feathers at the bottom of his cage. He's got some pin feathers on his face and head so I guess it's molting time for him. He seems happy. He's currently climbing all over me making happy noises and preening. He loves to just hang out.

It was just shocking to see so many feathers in like 12 hours. I'm used to one or two in a day not eight. Needless to say, they're all yours ConureCrazy.

I know some birds never get grumpy when molting; Tweeters never did, and Oliver doesn't. Carlisle is probably just a very well behaved birdy. . With some amazingly beautiful feathers. I can't wait to go to the craft store so I can get more earring hooks, lol I'm so excited to do something with Rosie's feathers. I'm going to start selling some future earrings, not sure when I'll get started though.

I know some birds never get grumpy when molting; Tweeters never did, and Oliver doesn't. Carlisle is probably just a very well behaved birdy. . With some amazingly beautiful feathers. I can't wait to go to the craft store so I can get more earring hooks, lol I'm so excited to do something with Rosie's feathers. I'm going to start selling some future earrings, not sure when I'll get started though.

Well behaved when he wants something.... I was putting him to bed and he was glaring at me from the back of his cage like "Um, hello?! I was a very good bird. Where's my walnut piece?" He wouldn't say goodnight until after he ate his walnut piece. He came back to the front of his cage and snuggled in for the night and told me "goodnight Carlisle" I'm sure he'll lose more feathers soon. Hopefully I'll get to them before he does. It has looked like my parakeets exploded all over the room for the past few days. There are so many teeny, tiny, white feathers everywhere in my bedroom. 2 minutes after I vacuum it looks like I never even bothered. The only give away is the vacuum cleaner marks on the carpet, lol.

LOL! When Oliver molts he loses so many feathers I'm surprised he's still fully feathered, lolol.

These are the earrings I've made since I got Rosie's (a GW) feathers:
The grey ones are from a pigeon, the big wing ones are from Rosie, the next ones are from a peacock, the next ones from Rosie, and the last ones in that row are Bella and Zora's tail feathers. The two on the bottom row are from 1) Rosie's body feathers, and 2) CustomCasket's sun conure Carlisle. I have 2 more Rosie earrings that I forgot to get in the pic because they were in my bathroom, sorry
