The third and fourth ones (on a chain and not-on-a-chain) are actually blue with a little green, as they're GCC wing feathers, but by camera somehow washes out the color.:20:

Beautifully done!!!!! I haven't forgotten about you. ;) I've started a collection for you, and I place ALL feathers in a Gallon sized bag now. Give me a few more weeks, and I'll mail you my first little batch. :D

Pretty earrings! I can send you some of Rosie's. She is STILL molting and it seems like she is losing a ton a day. If you pm me your address I will get some out to you as soon as I have a bunch (which shouldn't take very long). :)

Those are absolutely beautiful! Thats so great, and even better when they are made from your own birdy feathers! I wish I had skills/time for such things. Ill definitely be sending you some feathers! I have a bag full of them. I love the fluffy earings, and the single feather as a necklace is a great idea.

Thanks Wendy! :D

And THANK YOU to everyone that have taken their time to collect their feathers!!! If any of you want, I can use some of the feathers you send me to make you some earrings, like Megan has requested. :) ('You' being anyone reading this.) I really don't mind, it's a good hobby for me. :)

We do have a ton of feathers from our scarlet... sorry I never got back to ya... they've been collecting dust though(stuck in a jar) so you'd have to clean them... so pm me your address and we'll send them to ya... tons of long tail feathers too...

So cool! We give our feathers to a church member who ties flies with them, they look so neat!

I have quite a collection as well, all of pips red tailfeathers and plenty of bandit's too.
I want to keep some just for keepsake, but i have plenty i can send you... send me a PM on how to go about it if you wish :)

I never knew people used them for that! :D That's cool!

Man, just a couple months ago I was thinking "SO. MANY. FEATHERS. I CAN MAKE A PILLOW WITH THESE! I WISH I COULD DO SOMETHING OTHER THAN THROW THEM IN THE TRASH!" And now I know what do with with the excessive amounts of feathers from when they molt. Spooky loses some really pretty blue and white feathers. Meister's feathers are pretty too. Carlisle and Kayak's feathers are kinda boring unless they're a tail or flight feather.

I've got one feather! I'll keep collecting. Of course when I have something to do with the feathers there are none. I found this feather in a dresser drawer. Thanks birds. How did that get in there?
A Meister feather :) I had dozens of these only a couple months ago :(

LOL @ the pillow thing.... When they're molting you definitely can! :D

And I don't care that you threw them away. I sure know the feeling. I had HUNDREDS of great feathers that ended up in the trash before I started doing anything with them

MEISTER HAS REALLY AWESOME FEATHERS!!! :O And in a drawer too... LOL.

I have 2 budgies that molt the most beautiful feathers. I'll make sure I collect those for you. Spooky's feathers are my favorite.

Spooky loses really pretty feathers that are mostly white with some other colors mixed in. His feathers are my favorite. They're always so very white.

Meister (in the middle of a molt in this picture) loses a lot of blue-grey feathers with the occasional white and grey feather like the one I found.

I was cleaning cages about an hour ago and noticed Spooky started molting. That explains why he was mister attitude the last couple days.

I was sitting on the floor sorting good feathers from bad feathers. I also found a Carlisle feather mixed into the bunch. Spooky kept trying to take the feathers from me. He was sitting in my lap attempting to snatch them as I picked them up. Sorry buddy, they hit the floor. They're mine now!

Your budgies are really pretty ! All of Pepsi and sprites feathers are Floofies, but yesterday I found a tail feather from sprite.
