Julie a easy way to tell if it is your sauce or the pasta.

Put some sauce on a plate.... Just the sauce . ............ If water puddles around it. TA DA it is your sauce if not then you know it is the pasta.

Christine, I would bet $ it's the pasta. It will seep out even before the sauce gets mixed in (while eating). Yeah, I'm weird.. I like to keep the sauce as separated as possible even while eating it lol.
@happy, I think I will try tossing the pasta in olive oil AFTER it's done. I only put it in the cooking water so it won't become sticky. Mayve the oil does work as a barrier?

#2 - Good news . It was oil (olive) that disintegrated the sticker glue! It dissolved it really quickly. The dish soap (Palmolive) did not work.
