Trainning??

What would you say would be the best DVD or and Book to get for training a sun conure. And when should I start trainning since I don't have his complete trust yet?

lol.....please don't take this the wrong way, but "parrots for dummies" is a pretty good starter book with lots of good info for the beginer, even experienced folks can learn a thing or two, you'll find it not only good reading, but also a good reference guide to go back to over and over

I, too, am a supporter of Parrots for Dummies. If you're looking for a video, I suggest Barbara Heidenreich's DVDs. They can be ordered from her website: Good Bird Inc. We have a couple (Parrot Behavior & Training I and Understanding Parrot Body Language), they've got good basic training techniques. The body language was especially helpful when we got our first bird.

Thank you, And Bob I didn't take it the wrong way, LOL. actually I've been thinking about getting the Parrots for Dummies book. But I thought I'd ask before I did.
