torrent to mp4

I bought a program from the BBC Store and downloaded it. It came to my machine as a .ismv video. Nothing I've got will open or convert a .ismv video file. Any idea about how to handle it? I have been checked several pages including http://www.videoconverterfactory.com/tips/ismv-to-mp4.html. andhttps://forums.iis.net/t/1178448.aspx?HOWTO+ISMV+to+MP4.but they can not support Linux system. any idea will be appreciated.

Wish I had a solution, perhaps more computer savvy members can offer help.

Video Lan more commonly known as VLC . It's a free program and it will play any type of video file.

As far as converting it to something else I don't know of any free programs that will do that. I use a program called WinX HD video converter.
