Today's the day!

We are all jealous of a new baby grey in your home. Please send us photos of bird and cage. You will find instructions in the technical forum. Most of all enjoy Pearl.

I'll work on it right now:)

Here she is!

Sorry don't have a great camera. Can't see toys on other side of cage.

I get all mushy when I see baby greys. Theres something about their eyes. Beautiful girl!

Is that cage the Mink Brown cage from Petco?? It looks like it from the picture. I was just curious, I was thinking about that cage.

good luck with your new bird and congrats! my friend used to have 2 rottweilers and a dusky lory who would ride on the rottweilers back saying "step up! step up!" but you know your dog so i think its best to not allow such close interaction.

Yes it is. I like it so far but the only dislike I have is that you can't hang toys from the ceiling of it because a poop tray is there for the perch on top. Although I managed to losen the rings on toys with pliers and hang them on the perches that come with the cage. It is a very roomy cage and offers a lot of space so I like it.

Thanks for pointing that out, I never even thought about not being able to hang toys from the top of the cage. BUt does look like a very sturdy cage for the money.

I think it's very sturdy. The only thing I suggest doing is removing the washer on the bolt in the little door on the main door, and tighten it completely. It just has a little circle that spins to close it and all the bird would have to do is move that little circle piece of metal and the small door falls open. It would be really easy for it to get out. A little confusing but I tried:)

Thanks:) Her eyes are full of curiosity lol. She's already wanting to explore. She jumped off my shoulder this morning and had a bit of a rough but successful landing.(Her wings aren't clipped fully for situations like this)We mad sure her wings weren't clipped too much like people on here suggested so she could still glide. Then she took off just exploring and climbing on things. We all love her already. But it seems she has kinda clung to me(which in a way I was hoping for) I'm the only one that can stick my hand in the cage without her going on a squawking frenzy. But she lets everybody hold her.

Just wanted to give you guys an update. Her shyness is wearing off:) She's a little goof ball. She is getting really good with handling. She usually doesn't want to get off of our hand or arm. She's starting to make random sounds to us too.
