Thinking of getting another bird

I am thinking of getting another cockatoo or even rescuing a pair from a breeder or getting a African grey. Now that my obsession with large angel on a large reef tank is maybe over. Our cockatoo JOEY is doing great but still doesn't have a lot of vocabulary.he only says hello and still trying to say thank you but he is incredibly sweet. So I am worried that if I get female cockatoo it will soon ignore us because he have a companion now even if I put them in separate cages.

Also I found a pair of cockatoo for sale very cheap but it's not tame and it's already 6 years old. Can I still tame them according to the owner it's doesn't bite.I am not a breeder not intending to be one but I love to give this majestic bird a chance to be happy being with other birds and be part of my family.

Another option Is to get an African grey it should be more talkative than JOEY but probably not as sweet and tame to the other member of my family.

Any suggestion?

My kids loves them
