Ya, I sit in my recliner and let my Amazon walk all over me.. She is quiet for an Amazon. Talks when wants cheese, noodles, part of my sandwich, ect..

They're just happy to hang with dad.

They are both very cute!

Yea, til the wife comes in, them I'm public enemy #1 to them.

So are they more friendly with your wife? I mean, my Yellow Shouldered Amazon is more friendly toward me. She likes my wife, but when Sassy nibbles on my wife, well she takes it as Sassy is biting her. I admit, nibbles don't feel good, but they are definately different from a bite. I generally am the only person whom handles Sassy, so she is always friendly toward me. So from what you wrote, I take it as they are more friendly toward your wife. I read some on your Greenwing Macaw. As he was growing up.. Nice birdy.. lol

The Zons worship her ($%&&%^&) I mean night & day difference with us, the wife can do anything she wants with them & they don't care. With me, I have to watch the eyes & body language all the time if the wife is here, Shiloh (youngest) is COMPLETELY off limits to me unless I wanna get bit, Halo is much more friendly to me, even started saying my name recently. It's ok though, I got GW's :)
IF I have them by myself it's much easier & they are WAY more friendly.

GW looks like a nice pet.. You handfed her and she is very loyal to you.. My parrot was handfed so she was easier to handle. Parrots are like children in someways, because they are curious about everything. I still recall being bitten hard by Sassy, when I first got her home. She walked the sticks everytime she bit me. Got old to her, so she finally came to me with no hassles. lol But her bite, I could feel my finger bone about to snap. I was not sure I could endure that twice. Luckily had her walking sticks..

My GW is trying to talk to the video of your 'zons. My 'zons, however, are completely ignoring it . . .

They are all in my office (I work partly from home) & make conference calls a challenge.

I once learned I was NOT on mute when someone on the other end of the phone responded to my GW's sort of snotty-sounding, "Hell-O-O!"

With a tentative, "hello?"
