Here's the cage you have been waiting for Peta!!

Its roomy i think for the tiels, Pikkie is coming out, he's getting his old cage back. But its at my friends house now, he got a senegal and is borrowing it for now. Pics in next post!

Bought it for R500 ($ 62). Man cages are expensive, but i feel its worth it, the cage Rolie was in was really small, like a canary cage. My sister doesnt care she thinks a bird is a bird and only needs a cage and thats it. Well i told her more about what needs a bird has and she also saw a change in Rolie, he always got hurt in his old cage when clapping wings now he can go crazy.

Thats a great cage, and boy what a price. It would work out at £35.26, we couldn't get a cage over here for that price. Really. I'm gonna try and find some links and show you how much they would cost over here. Ridiculous amounts of money.

Isn't it amazing how many people think that birds only have to fit inside a cage, they don't think of them having to stretch their wings or move about, When I rescued Errol and Flynnie, they were in the tiniest cage possible, and there were 4 in there, originally 5 but there was one on the floor dead. :17: It really was heartbreaking.

Thats so bad, im glad i got some sense into seeking for good sites and reading up. All of us start at petshops, they give the bird, tell you that cage, give you only seed and peanuts- sometimes us humans are just gullable, believe everything they tell us. Well that changed, i want to be the best parront i can possibly be! And thats that!

The cage wasnt too expensive, but not a cheapy thats for sure! Thats what i meant when saying your dollars and euros can buy alot, its cheaper for you guys. You can buy nice things like cages and even birds and ship it over and it will still be cheap. But believe me taking out a R 500 is like taking out a few hundred euros!

Hope i'll get a nice cage for Kodie too! But have to work first...

I've found one that looks similar in size, but the money is a lot more here.

This one is £53.00 which is 752 South African Rands, but it doesn't come with anything, so on top of that money you would need extra money for perches and food/water bowls.
