I’m amused how old Rickey Bird is. When I originally bought my Jenday I was under the impression that conures only live 15-20 years. That’s what the store associate had told me. Yay Rickey Bird for longevity

Our avian vet says that avian veterinary medicine AND avicultural knowledge AND general awareness on the part of owners is really increasing the lifespans! And their sexual liveliness... the Rb is a lusty old rooster year round!
