I said i was going to get my new cage today... So here it is! Kodie has settled quite readily into it, talking in his language the whole evening! So i guess he approved it!:D Couldnt buy any toys for him, the cage was a bit....expensive:eek:

Anyway, here it is!!!

Thats a panel thing i just loved it when i saw it, and i think he likes it too, cause no he can be close to his cage but with me too!!!

And here is the full size of the cage, its not yet "somewhere" in my room, its "everywhere"! Going to move all the stuff tomorrow.

OMG what a cute a cage! I saw thatc age on the internet i thaught it was quite cute! I think hes in need of some new toys.. it looks... kind of empty! which usually happends when you upsize cages. Kodie looks to love it! I like how its sort of like house :D and how it has playstand like beside/ontop the cage.

Yeah, it looks a bit empty. But i have to wait until next week or so to buy toys. I havent got any time tomorrow to go to my breeder for toys, have a zillion things to do, and she can talk alot! So i guess he'll have to demolish the 4 thats in there for now. Not that he goes through toys that fast anyway, he hasnt even touched the one i got for him, full of nonsense. But i'm more looking into making toys myself, but it will happen after my exams and thats in June. Will post pics if i make some in my "maybe" spare time.;)

Ya making your toys is ALOT cheaper. Most of my toys are homemade.

WOW that is amazing, I've seen them before, and thought they were pretty amazing. Kodie has a nice enclosed sleeping area and a lovely spacious play area. I love the way the playarea is on the side and not on the top. Lovely cage and Kodie sure looks like he's given it his approval. :D

Jip, he has. He was talking the whole nite last nite, so took a liking to the cage quite quickly. I like the whole playstand on the side, now i can give him his cooking mixture there without me having to clean the whole cage everytime.

:D :D And don't they love to make a mess, especially when you've JUST cleaned the cage. :D :D Ya gotta love em.

Not only is that style of cage, pleasing to the eye....I like the fact the playgym is at a reasonable level. Mine is so high, I have to get on a step ladder, to get the bird. Plus him being higher than me, gives him a bit of a birdattiude.

Congrats on your new set up....don't worry about it being to empty. Just make some homemade cheep toys.

That cage is really cute! I saw a few that looked like that, and considered them, if I wanted to get a Sennie. Is it ok if I bombard you with a few questions?

-Is it easy to clean?
-Is it easy to manuver round? (eg, can you get inside to move things around and things?)
-Is it a decent size? It certainly looks it!

Sorry, I'm just a curious lil' bee!

Sorry, only saw it now.

- Easy to clean? : Definitely! I just place 2 large papers in there, he usually messes the one more than the other half.

- Easy to manuever? : Definitely, i curled right in there when i had to get the toys in. It has wheels, to manuever around, and the roof comes off if you want to put toys in on top, but there is slide doors on the side of the playstand and i just popped it in from that side.:p

- Is it a decent size? : I'd say yes, for a grey, ekkie, amazon and so on its the right size. For smaller birds like sennies, conures- its a palace! I'll take a pic with the tiels, ringneck and conure inside there so you can see clearly how big it is.:D

But i'll say, i'm very happy with this cage, its as big as me and when i want to interact with my bird i just let him out on his playstand, and he loves it. Stands infront of the slide doors to be let out! Let me know if theres something else you'd like to know!:D

Thanks Wilma, she'll try and get on later, but at the moment she's having 2 weeks solid of exams,
