The New CAG is Recovering Quickly...

Ghouls. Right season for them. Smh.

That's disgusting. I can't believe that people even try that... it makes me so sad and angry.

Just wanted a free bird. Glad you stood your ground because this birds REAL owner is out there, heart broken and wants him home (I'm sure).

I am so sorry you have to go through something like this.
I wish there were some authorities to report these people to.

I PMed you.
There is someone who is STILL (!!!) looking for a lost CAG in San Antonio.
CAG is a boy and was lost in May.
Band is a problem though, but check my PM please.

Ooooooh, he sounds like a VERY GOOD BOY.
If only he could tell you the address he came from.....:)
I wonder if he is lost for a long while and his person gave up looking for him.

We've been trying to teach Neyteri to sing her address and a song telling someone to "Take me to the Vet, I have a chip!"
So far she's singing only her own songs!!

Please be careful, someone might have a buyer for the bird and return and swipe him or one of your others to flip.
If they can't answer simple questions on the phone, don't even give them your address. Or meet at a Vet's office if you have too many red flags.

Yeah. I saw that one, and talked to the guy. It's not his. He's honest.

We figured out the Scam last night. There is another lost CAG out there, and there is a large reward posted for that bird. I talked to the lady that lost her bird the day I found this one and confirmed it isn't hers...

These people were calling this bird by her bird's name. They were after the reward money. I'm virtually certain of it...

What is wrong with people. SO glad you are who you are Birdman. Unreal people have the nerve to do this. To bad your birds can fly over and poop on them .. Maybe a tick you need to teach one.

The thought had crossed my mind. I very nearly had to call the cops on them last night.

OMG - Lesson reminder for everyone. We hear it all the time and don't think it will happen to us or think about it after the fact. Hoping the owner and parrot find each other soon but in the mean time...enjoy the guy.

I should have hung up on that lady the minute she said her lost bird had a band. Sorry, I can confirm this is not your bird...

But I just feel so bad for people going through what I just went through.

AFTER LAST NIGHT, NO MORE!!! It's gotta be a better prospect. Not a "Can't I just come over and see if it's mine..."

I would think the bird would respond too{ If it was their person.} I would love to go off on these sh@#$ heads in person.

Yeah well, one of them was holding a baseball bat. I didn't so much want to go off on them, I wanted them to go away without doing anything stupid!

The 911 Operator on speaker was very helpful...

Apparently they did not want to have a conversation with Mr. Blue....

Everyone is fine here, but I can't believe I actually let these people into my house! What the hell is wrong with me?!

Won't happen again... I learned my lesson.

This little guy is special. Soneone out there can tell me just how special he is. Then they can come over and sit down with me for a happy reunion....

Had another "free bird" call tonight. I hung up on them.

I'm getting the hang of this...
