I shoot with the Nikon D4s it is a full frame professional DSLR camera body.

Are you a photographer and familiar with the equipment?

We've mentioned a bird's facial expressions many times to people and they think we are crazy. After showing them some photos of PJ and Arika, they are shocked.

People that have the privilege of sharing some quality time with feathered friends see many different expressions that are truly amazing.


BTW, excellent camera!! I wish we could use our Nikon to get some photos of Arika, but she is not very cooperative. It's hard getting a pic of her with just the cell phone.
Perhaps we just need to expose her to the larger camera more so she gets used to it and we will have more opportunities.

It is really true, sometimes the looks he gives me cracks me up.

As you know, it is all about desensitizing them. I stuck my camera in his face on day one. I apologized and I limited my time. I actually still do. He's okay with the camera, but not too crazy about the flash, even though I always tilt the flash up, (bounce the flash) and never directly in his face.

I say go for it, break out your Nikon just take it slow like everything else.
You won't be disappointed.
