Hi everyone. I have two medium sized birds both adopted, an Panamanian Amazon and a Patagonian Conure. The one bird I always was enchanted by has been the macaw, the Hyacinth to be more precise. Been wanting one for many years and will most likely want one for a few years more.
This is an ongoing project of mine, meaning when I do eventually get one I want to be fully prepared. When we adopted Rio we already had a cage, toys, vet info, and all the other little things at home (cage actually for 1 1/2 years before she came). Adding a bird to your family isn't a commitment of a few years but a commitment of a lifetime so I like to get it right the first time. I would like some feedback from owners that have Hyacinth, their experiences.
